MOTIVATION TO JOIN APIX

I like interacting with people and wanted to find a position where I can utilize the customer service experiences from my previous job, so I was looking into sales related jobs regardless of the industry. I first learnt about APIX during a job fair and was surprised that there was also a tour for the workplace. During the tour, apart from the staffs of the hiring team, I also met other employees, which gave me a good idea of the company's environment. Everyone greeted me cheerfully, and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The whole experience made me want to become part of this community and work here.

FIRST YEAR EXPERIENCE

I joined the company without any knowledge about the industry or products. During my first year, under the guidance from my senior colleagues, I learnt the workflows form receiving orders to the final delivery as an office-based sales assistant. In addition, I gained knowledge on business manners, sales skills such as how to proceed with business negotiations through visiting clients with my seniors. I also acquired product knowledges though learning about the production processes and participating in exhibitions. From the second year, I have been conducting regular visits to clients, business negotiations, service introductions and gathering client information as a sales staff, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry.

REWARDING MOMENTS

After we help clients resolve dissatisfactions or questions, and when we pleased them by promptly meeting the delivery dates, the most rewarding part of the job to me is when clients show appreciation and says the words “thank you”. Also, when existing clients suggested us to new clients and we receive new job requests, there is a great sense of accomplishment with the increase of sales. I believe it is important as a salesperson to build a trustworthy relationship, no matter towards long-time or new clients.
